Social : The POWER of Faith, Belief, and Prayer - CURED STAGE IV Cancer

From: Mike Fesler PowerNetworker on 24-Jul-08 11:06am
Thank you so much.

I hope you are ready for this?
As of the last Dr. appointment this new info.

I just want to shout it from the roof tops !!
The power of good thoughts and prayer is SO UNDER ESTIMATED !!

Teri still remains in great spirits. And her strength is holding.
Thank GOD !!
Please see Note from Teri below.

As we confirmed (from the prior testing), by the comparative reports that the cancer has shrunk from a 10.2, down to a 3, it is now down to a 1.7 and holding with 0 growth !!!

And now. . . -0- other cancer has been detected anywhere in her entire body !!

It has all. . . just gone away. . . disappeared !!

You are witness to a miracle !!
Praise GOD !!

The plan is now to go in and remove the small spot of cancer on her lung, and radiate the area briefly to ensure any other contamination from cancer is destroyed.

This is unheard of. . . stage IV cancer being cured? The Dr's are in awe, (the Dr's are believers as well) and they themselves have stated that this is a miracle.

----------Note from Teri:

MIRACULOUS
, that's the word for what God is doing in me.
I want to express to all of you my gratitude for your continued prayers and
thoughts while I've been going through this journey of mine. I'm truly blessed to have
so many who have taken the time to inquire how I am, and what's happening in my life.
At this point, I'm finished with chemo but waiting to here from the surgeon with regards to surgically removing the section on the lung. After that it's a round of radiation,
(just in case a stray cell is still present).

Then, well it's one step at a time.
I KNOW my God has got it !!
May God bless you all with his love and peace as he has me, and my family.
Teri
-----------End:

The road is still long and there will be other procedures to follow, but with Gods grace and proper monitoring. . this could be a total cure for Teri.

Please. . . Please pass this on to others that I may of missed or that you may of told, of Teri's miracle from God. This way, others may be blessed as well.

It makes a difference not only because of Teri, But because of the change in you and others.
We firmly believe that without YOUR faithful generosity of compassion for one another . . . this WOULD NOT be happening.

Thank you again for everything, especially your continued prayers and good thoughts !!

Stay In His Grip.

Blessings to you and yours,
Mike

Our Continued Paryers Go to Teri, Mike, and the Fesler Family

Billie Jean King Changed the World

Billie Jean King Changed the World

I read an article about Billie Jean King the other day, and it talked about how she had changed tennis and women's sports. That was such a limited and narrow view. In reality, Billie Jean King changed the world.

Think that's a radical claim? Not at all. I'll tell you a personal story now.

Remember that match with Bobby Riggs? The Battle of the Sexes? How Billie Jean King beat him, despite predictions. It was fantastic. In that brief match, she managed to change the world in a very profound way.

I was 12 or so then, and it changed how I looked at the world. I was growing up in small town America, and in junior high. I had complained to my mother about how the boys had sports in junior high, but the girls didn't...despite state laws requiring equality in the schools. My mother's reaction was that if I didn't think it was fair, I needed to work to change it. Her suggestion for changing it was a letter to the editor for a first step.

I thought it was a good idea, and recruited my younger sister to the project too. We wrote our letters, sent them off...and a few days later, there they were...in black and white, for the entire town to read.

Oh boy, did we start the ball of change rolling in our small town. At twelve, I had no idea what I was about to endure, or the changes that it would cause in me. It meant I spent my years in junior high school labeled a "women's libber" and assorted other sins, being publicly humiliated by most of my teachers as I was targeted as a revolutionary on a daily basis.

I developed a thick skin fast. I couldn't burst into tears as I was brought to the front of the class as an example of a "women's libber" and an "unfeminine girl." I couldn't let on that I was awkward with my own body, with its rapid changes, and that I WAS different from the boys all of a sudden. Cast by a desire to play basketball into a role as the junior high rebel, I learned fast to stand up for what I wanted and believed in, and to choose my battles carefully.

After that first year of the painful humiliation, we had girl's basketball in both seventh and eighth grade. I think we had a whole four or five games against other schools. Did I like basketball? Not as much as I thought I would, but after all of that, I HAD to play. Was I good at it? Not really. But that didn't matter; I had fought long and hard to get here. I was GOING to play.

I learned a lot as a result of Billie Jean King. Billie Jean made me learn that I didn't have to grow up expecting to be a secretary or school teacher, earning half the pay of my male counterparts. She made me learn that some things are worth standing up for, and that following the herd was not required.

I learned to have Expectations. I learned that I could make choices. I learned to have opinions and to voice them. I learned that being female did not take away the validity of my knowledge, ability, and opinions. I learned that gender didn't have to define us professionally in a limiting manner.

Okay, so how do these changes in me pertain to Billie Jean King changing the world? I was a small ripple in a small pond. I was not important, I didn't make headlines anywhere, and I didn't find a cure for anything.

But Billie Jean King caused those ripples to occur in thousands of small towns across America. Each of these people who were touched by these small ripples felt the changes those ripples left on their own perception of the world.

Billie Jean King changed the world by changing the expectations of thousands upon thousands of young girls with that tennis match. We all grew up, we all had jobs or raised families or otherwise touched other people's lives, perpetuating that ripple effect until guess what?

Equality was starting to happen, all because of a tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs that was played way back in the early 70s, long before most of the beneficiaries of her efforts towards equality were even born. Did Ms. King intend to cause all of this change?

It doesn't matter...she did.

Well I have an idea

Exogeny Network

by MaryMartha Miller
Well I have an idea and it will take many people pulling together to make it happen. I hope you are for it and that you can and will help to make it happen!
I received a text message today on my phone and that is what started the idea. The message was as fallows : AMBER ALERT in New Mexico!... 2 little girls kidnapped...Suspect is driving brown jeep liberty...License plate# is NM 43-6519 PLEASE forward. This message was sent to me on 6-8-08 @ 9:45am.
The thought I had is, why don't our cell phone companies send these messages automatically? The major roads and many freeway's have electric billboards that post these kind of messages so why not cell phones to? Most people now days have cell phones so how many people would get these messages while they where stopped to get food, gas, or break from driving and then get back on the road? It is something that I think would be a good idea. I have Verizon Wireless and they send us free text messages all the time regarding different things. This is something that could save lives! I feel as though they need to help just that little bit and make it free to their customers.
If many people pull together and talk to their cell phone companies and keep on it, we could make it happen! We could get all cell phone companies to send out the Amber Alert messages.
How I started was by going to the Verizon Wireless web site and clicking on "contact us" and sending them a email. Next time I am in their office I will bring it up their too. I sure hope you forward this email and also help get this done. We can do it people have done amazing things by pulling together! --MaryMartha Miller boneappetitepets@gmail.com www.exogenynetwork.com

Gremlins and text messages

Exogeny Network

ExoHash 11.7.2008 - Gremlins and text messages

by Gia Scott

Gremlins in computers, gremlins in tools, gremlins in my life, and yet...damn, I'm happy. I guess that's the state of being twitter pated. BUT...all those gremlins that plagued me in March, April, May AND June...seem to be on vacation. (crosses fingers and toes) I honestly feel like my engagement and current direction are in accordance with my "life plan," just don't ask me to explain what the life plan is or where it comes from. That seems to be a rather nebulous concept with me as of right now.

Still, my visions are clearer every day, and my focus is starting to truly develop now. So, the DOA laptop was resurrected without technical assistance, hours before the only person that I have found with technological answers about blue tooth applications for my pod casts was going to be available. Without the laptop, he couldn't have helped me. Without him, the laptop wasn't much use either. It all came together like a lightening bolt, and bingo...it was a done deal.

Laptops and cellphones, the bane of my existence for several months. I now have a Blackberry 8703e, and I'm not sure what I think of it yet. I've only been using it a couple of weeks, and its certainly far more than a mere phone. It also takes a bit more than 10 minutes to explore all of its functions and their real-world use. So far, I'm not finding the "smartphone/pda" functions particularly useful~~but, I still use an old fashioned "organizer" to keep phone numbers and addresses and dates. I'm a bit phobic, especially considering I lost most of my "phone book" when I went through five phones in a single month. I don't like attempting to compose emails on a keyboard that would fit on a credit card with space left over either. Text messages are sufficient thumb typing for me, and since I am suffering from classic "aging eyes", I can't even SEE the keyboard, and while I use regular keyboards that long ago had their keys worn off...that's a full sized one. I have a devil of a time typing on this micro sized one.

That brings me to another topic...the state of Louisiana has passed a law about cell phones. It seems its going to be illegal to text message while driving. This is insane, surely they already had laws that covered being stupid and not paying attention while driving? Is there a law forbidding reading a newspaper while driving? Who is stupid enough to try and type on these micro keyboards while driving?

Maybe I shouldn't ask that question.

Jade and Shadow.jpg
Jade and Shadow - Ok here is a pic of Jade and Shadow. It was taken 6-6-08. They are best of friend kinda like Milo and Otis! Jade was weighed today and he is up to 13 pounds.
Jade is normally 20 pounds and not fat!
Well, this month of June has been tough.
I am going to tell you why June has been tough. It will be sad and you may shed some tears, but keep reading after all that has happened it made me stop and think. I am not a person who has studied animal science and I am not an expert at anything. I do have knowledge, common sense, and emotions. I also have a great deal of love for anything living.
I am sad to report that on June 8th we lost Ashley. Her cause of death is unknown. Just natural causes I assume. We placed her in a space next to a couple of other loved pets. She had got out a couple of days ago. I figured that she had got caught by some dogs. Jade stopped eating and drinking and was constantly calling for Ashley. I moved him so that he would be around everyone including the birds. In two days Jade had lost about seven pounds! After I moved him, I got him to start eating and drinking again. He was still at a loss without Ashley. I found Ashley laying on the porch. She was not mangled or anything. What I am guessing is that she was unable to find water. After I collected myself a little, I got jade and took him to Ashley. He smelled her, rubbed his head on hers, and then he sat with his head to the ground for a moment. After he had his moment he came to me and I took him back into the house. Jade has come to be very close to Shadow. They sleep together and play together. Shadow is very careful with him. Jade has also not bothered Bruce and Sunny. He is eating and drinking normal and now we are trying to get weight on him. Every now and then he sits and you can see the sadness in him. When he has those moments I will pick him up, cuddle, and I cry with him.
I talk to animals just as I would talk to you. They talk back in their own ways. I don't understand why people can think that animals don't understand. Jade is and was suffering from depression, just like we do. He was calling for Ashley, just as we would do for a friend or loved one. He had is moment of sadness and a chance to say good bye, do we not do the same? We do and we all are living creatures.
I normally have water outside for the birds to come and bath in or drink. I haven't been taking the five minutes to fill those containers. We don't have as many songs sang around the house now. If I had been taking those five minutes Ashley might had a place to get a drink and we might have more songs sang in the mornings. One simple act of random kindness could have more of an impact then we will ever notice. A reminder for myself.
Now, the first thing I do in the morning when I get up is water the birds, feed the birds, and then I take care of everyone in the house.
Never underestimate a living creature.
A while back I watched a movie and if you are able to see it, I recommend it. The movie was called "Evan Almighty". It is a good one and it makes you think just a little. It is not a sad movie it is a comedy.
I have a couple of good recipes this time and I do hope you enjoy them. if you have any request or comments please email them to us. We would love to have some feedback!
August we will have Sky's birth-day menu up. Her Birth-day is August 6th and she will be six years old!
